  • CMS content and web site front-end are displayed and maintained via in-house developed Web Display Application (WDA)
  • Interwoven MetaTagger Studio is the taxonomy management tool

Served as Point of Contact for Multiple Micro Sites

Worked with multiple content owners within the company on content organization and maintenance.

  • Events
  • Tools & Resources – Most of the sub-sections, such as Case Studies, Calculators and Simulators, are dynamically gathered from other areas of the site and displayed via taxonomy tags, with a separate display application developed by Halliburton's IT team.

Taxonomy Applications

The best example is the Products & Services section. This is the largest section of the web site, serving multiple company divisions and product service lines (PSLs). This was the first section to migrate from static pages to CMS-and-taxonomy-driven in 2006.

Other taxonomy applications include the News & Media and Tools & Resources sections mentioned above.
